Rug

I was so happy when I found this Ikea PS 'Gylsboda' rug in their discount area. I remember reading about it earlier and thinking 'that would be nice!' then completely forgot about it. Until the other day, that is. I thought it would be great in the kiddies room. If I remember the story correctly, Gylsboda is the designer Maria Vinke's hometown - a small place in Sweden. In the map illustrated on the rug however, all the street names are changed into international road names. An exciting idea, I think. And what a find!

I love that rug too, and have been thinking about buying it for one of my sons rooms! But if it is on sale, that means I better hurry, right?

I'm pretty sure it's been discontinued, but if you're lucky you might find one in 'Billigkroken' as I did (what could that be called in Sweden??) I do hope you find one - it's a great rug. Can even be turned over and you have a trasmatta. The colors are great as well.

Sorry about the Norwegian-Swedish-English mess-up in this comment...
