Action Frank

The last post in the series of little things... On occasion I find the odd vintage toy that I can't pass. This set of skiing gear for a 12" doll called 'Action Frank' being one such thing. I have never heard of Action Frank before, and it seems neither has ebay. I'd love to know what he looks like. Judging from this outfit, he has short legs (hence the short skis), extremely warm hands (mittens are made of net material), he's got big feet and is probably British (the Union Jack is adorning his anorak, anyway). If you happen to know who I live with, you might enjoy this a little extra.

Update: After a little more research. Could this be him? Guys and dolls, indeed :-))

Wooden Donkey web shop

Wooden Donkey is one of my favorite spots online for quirky vintage purchases. Above are some of my latest finds there. 1 Tin toy car, 2 Book on modern glass, 3 Tin coasters (set of six) and 4 Wooden shop peg puzzle.
