Stavangerflint children's dishes

I had dishes with these motifs as a kid. They got lost over the years but I was lucky and found a complete set (plate, cup and bowl) last year at a fleamarket. I'm pretty sure the illustrations are by Inger Waage, and they are just beautiful. And so fitting for spring.

These plates are just adorable and bring back memories from early childhood. I had the same dishes when I was a child in the 70's. I think I have to take them with me from my parents' home the next time I visit them!

You should! Besides being adorable, they are also worth a bit of money now...

I had these too! As a kid I always thought it was kind of weird that the person colouring it didn't do it properly... :)

...Me again, I did a little research on a Stavangerflint site, and it looks like it was designed by Anne Lofthus. They are pictured about half-way down.

Norseman: Thanks for correcting me. A good reminder to do my research more properly :-)

They are adorable, but not by Inger Waage. The designer is Anne Lofthus.
