Going Tivoli

Tomorrow I'm setting out for Copenhagen. I've been to Copenhagen many times before but never visited Tivoli. I'm taking my soon-to-be 5 year old and I think it will be almost as much fun for me as I'm sure it will be for him.

These illustrations are taken from the book Nordiske Hovedsteder (Nordic Capitals) which I have blogged about earlier (click here to see). The Copenhagen section of the book is written and illustrated by Ebbe Sadolin (1966).

I'll bring my camera and hope to have some nice Tivoli pics to show you later :-)

Oh, Janne! Tivoli is one of my favorite places in the world!!! It's been years since I was last there but I found it to be utterly magical!

Hope you have a lovely time and I can't wait to see photos! :)

Gordeous pictures! I particularly like the greens in the first one ...

I can't tell you how much I wish I could visit Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland (preferably for a long time!) ... I'm determined to make my dream come true, and I promise to get in touch if I ever make it to Oslo :-)

Uncle Beefy and Juddie: Tivoli really IS a magical place! Next time I want to be there at night too, to see all the lights.
