Display cupboard cravings

Since I started collecting my vintage cups etc. (above) I have been on the lookout for the perfect way to display them. I am still looking. I can't stand having to dust everything off on my open shelves, so I really want some cupoards with glass doors. I've been searching Ikea and other furniture stores, but the ones they sell are too deep for my liking. I have of course looked around fleamarkets too, but still no. The hunt continues. Meanwhile, here are some of my favorite display cupboards, found on other blogs.

From the lovely Jane Foster blog. I so love this cupboard. (Above and below).

(Sorry, forgot where this is from..)

Oh, your collection is so amazing! And can you believe it - just after looking at this post I went and broke one of my Midwinter teacups. Boo hoo! Maybe I should keep them behind glass too.

Beautiful ! And I love the last one, which is from House doctor ;) but they don't have online shop, so you have to go to Denmark if you want it !

i think you should get some shelves made janne. then they would be perfect for your collection.

Francesca - I love that pattern too. Maybe we should ask Jane?

Heather - so sorry about your teacup. Good thing is you can probably find a replacement on ebay.

Célessa - Thanks for the tip! Maybe I'll get on a boat to Copenhagen and buy a few...

I will always lust after your collection. Always.
What you need is a vintage bookcase! There are alot on ebay and most are glass fronted and of course pretty shallow - have a look! I got mine off ebay and am currently debating whether to leave it as glass front or to whiten the glass... paul mccobb style... :)

The last cabinet you showed reminds me of a bathroom cabinet. perhaps second hand medical/dentist cabinets may be the go.

Belle collection !

The final one is a House Doctor cabinet. Probably from their catalogue.
