Friday fish

I'm sorry for the lack of posts lately. In order to try and catch up, I'm serving you some fresh fish patterns: Lidded pot 'Clupea' by Figgjo (very sought-after vintage), porcelain platter from Porsgrund (most recent purchase and a big favorite of mine) and lastly a wooden trivet 'Sill' (herring) by Marianne Nilsen for Almedahls.

Wishing you all a non-fishy weekend! (I might be back with some more fish patterns later...)

Oh, you get the best stuff! I had a lucky find over the weekend - two stoneware "Telma" pots by Gustavsberg, and when I got them home, I discovered they were designed by my hero, Stig Lindberg! I keep going over to gaze at them in wonder...

Oh I love that porcelain platter.

By the way, the banana cake recipe is from Donna Hay, let me know if you want it and I'll email it over. Cheers
