Tips: If you have any Emalox items, don't put them in the dishwasher, don't cut on them and if you serve salad in the light colored bowls, skip the red onion...
After wandering aimlessly, for the most part, all over the Web, I found your blog regarding Emalox. Thank you for the information! Amazingly, I happened upon a yard sale here in Mississippi, USA(where I live) a couple of weeks ago and there, sitting on a table that had been rained on earlier, were several pieces of lime-green Emalox serveware--one little cup, five butterpat sized plates, a large bowl, a large (unfortunately scratched) round platter AND a two-tier tidbit. I couldn't believe that the whole set was still there since it was late in the day, but I suppose southern Mississippi people aren't keen on mid-century Norwegian serveware. Nothing was priced, so I asked and the mother told her daughter, "Now, you price it since the money's going to you." She thought for a moment, and then said, "Is $5 for the whole set ok?" It was all I could do not to throw the money at her and run to my car to make a fast getaway before they realized I was virtually stealing the stuff! What a great day!
What's blogging my view is a lot of things; Interiors, architecture, ceramics, patterns, textiles, people, dogs, music, travelling and shopping to mention the more frequent distractions.

Flotte!
Her i heimen har vi berre to Emalox-fat, men dei er kjære skattar å servere på.
Ha ei fin veke!
The look is great but the extra care would not fit the reality of my lifestyle.
Jeg har turkise lysestaker i Emalox, de er kjempefine!
Love the colors! :)
they look wonderful mixed & matched like this!
