LooLoos toilet roll dolls
I don't know if crocheted toilet roll dolls was a particularly Scandinavian trend (in the 1960s?). Anyway, the girls behind The LooLoos have put a new spin on it and these dolls were for sale at the previously mentioned Christmas fair. I think they're so funny. Not to mention creative!

Helt utrolig, fantastisk morsomme!
oooh no, they weren't only popular in Scandinavia. I remember the pale blue nylon crocheted dress on my Grandmother's toilet roll doll in 1970's Australia too :-)
They were definitely very big in Canada when I was a kid in the early 1970s, along with crocheted poodles. Must have been in international decorating craze!
So, this was obviously a worldwide trend. Interesting... Thanks for your feedback!
My great Aunt used to make these..I love them :)
I want to know where you can buy them now. How awesome!
