Planetveien 12

OK, so I did extensive surfing, and managed to find an Italian pdf file (!) with most of these pictures of Grete Prytz Kittelsens house in Planetveien 12, Oslo. It was drawn by her architect husband Arne Korsmo. I had hoped to find a recent photo of the great lady herself too, but no such luck unfortunately. The search goes on. Thinking the follow-up to this will be a blog post about cool old lady designers... :-)

Oh, I love her house!
I remember when I look at them that I saw a documentary or some sort of interview with her some years ago. She is really one of the coolest old designer ladies there are. I`ll have to try to find that interview again.

Hey. I shot a music video in Planetveien some time ago for Norwegian singer MAGNUS HÆNGSLE. Not in Prytz´house, but in the neighbours apartment.

Check it out here;

My name is Gennaro Postiglione and I am the author of the 'PDF file', that is a lecture on Planetveien 12!
I have been the first time in the house in 1994 together with Christian Norberg-Schultz and I really got in love with Grete: some years later I wrote her a letter where I declared if I was 30 years older I would ask to get married with her!
During the years she became older and older, but had always an incredible energy for work and thought. Norway lost really a great woman!
